Mother has now been released to the public!
Mother is a program which allows the live mixing of the output of multiple Processing sketches, in a manner not unlike VJing.
Go over to the projects Google Code page, download it and give it a try! Note that you will need to be familiar with the Processing.org environment in order to use it.
I am very curious to see how it ends up being used, so get in touch and let me know!
I think it only works on PC. Are you planning a MAc version?
I am performing live a lot with Processing compositions and this kind of a tool is what I have been missing!

Hi!
Only reason I didn’t make a Mac version is I don’t have a Mac to test it on. If you like I can make one and send it to you for you to try, and if it works well I’d be more than happy to put it up as a download on googlecode!
Best regards,
Ilias Bergstrom
Hi Ilias,
Really would be interested in mac version, if it’s easy enough to port could be great app. I don’t have a pc so cannot even tryout as purely mac based.
Thanks

have you seen this:

Vedran,
Indeed I have!
Looks interesting! It is OS X only at the moment so I haven’t tried it, and from thinking about it a bit I realize it would probably not work well with Mother because of OpenGL. I might give it a try still to see how it works in practice when there’s a windows release out.
